Product Name It's marked "Birk's Safety Pen" on the barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Henry Birks was a jeweler in Montreal in the late 1800s. The nib is marked "ALCO" so it was made by Aiken Lambert.
Length 3-3/4 inches.
Filling System Eyedropper filling system. We've fully cleaned and tested it and it's working well. We'll include instructions on how to fill this pen, and the pieces you need for filling (not including ink).
Color Black chased hard rubber with a wide engraved gold filled cap band.
Nib SEMI-FLEX MEDIUM nib made by Aiken Lambert. Very smooth with subtle line variation.
Condition Excellent condition. No chips, dings, dents, or cracks. The chasing is a little worn, and there is brassing on the edge of the cap band, which is engraved with the initials "MJV"
