Product Description
Type Full size fountain pen
Product Name Marked "TUCOLOR FILL E-Z" - this is the ringtop version.
Manufacturer and Year Diamond Point, USA - circa 1920s
Length 4-1/2" including the ringtop hardwear.
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and it's working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber finish with a red top. Nickel trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Warranted 14k nib is sort of on the large side for a fine. It's got nice tipping, though it's worn in a way that makes it a little scratchy if you write extremely upright. It's smooth, and flexes easily to a broad line.
Condition Excellent condition. The color is great, usually hard rubber pens get lighter from the sun and oxidization, but this one is quite dark. The chasing is nice and clear. There's hardly any scratching on the pen, though there are two tiny chips in the very bottom of the pen. Also the ring in the top is a little bent. No cracks or chips in the cap lip. Still the pen is looking quite beautiful, and working very well.
