Condition | Very nice, user grade condition, though this pen has seen better days. There are a couple of smaller marks that look like heat damage on the barrel as well as some strange very small marks that look almost like pitting around the imprint (see photos). The cap has a few small cracks in its lip, but they all stop at the band, so they are not likely to spread. It's a little scratched up, especially near the top of th cap, and the clip stands a little away from the cap (it doesn't onto things tightly). There's a small spot on the threads where the barrel has been shaved down a little bit, but there are no cracks there. Still, the classic Esterbrook J design is nice, and feels good in hand. |
