Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Esterbrook LJ Pen.
Manufacturer and Year Esterbrook -- circa 1950s. We are not sure where it was made as there is no imprint .... these "icicles" were frequently made in Mexico.
Length A hair over 5-1/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Icicle Blue with steel trim. The blue is shiny and even toned with black stripes that make the pen an icicle. It has a metallic appearance. There are two black plastic jewels at the end of the pens.
Nib RELIEF BROAD (STUB) #2314-B nib is large and smooth with lots of tipping material
Condition Excellent + condition. Hardly a scratch or mark on the pen, just one scratch near the lever box. The clip looks great with zero brassing. There is no wear on the tassie or ring cap. The black plastic jewels are in good condition. There are no noticeable marks on the pen jewels. No cracks, chips, dings dents, personalization, or plating wear. The pen is fully restored and working well.
