Product Description
Type | Lever filler fountain pen |
Product Name |
This is from the 2nd generation series of Symphony pens. The model is 705 and they called it "Golden Symphony". It was the only model with a gold filled cap (the low-end "Luxury" Symphony had a gold plated cap). This listing is for one of our "seconds," that is, new old stock pens with some minor damage picked up during their many years of storage. In the case of this model, there isn't that much difference between the "seconds" and the first quality 705s we sell at a higher price (small amounts of corrosion on the cap in the vicinity of the clip). |

Condition |
New old stock, never used or inked. They have been sitting around for 60 years! We've cleaned them up and re-sacced them, and they are ready to write. The "seconds" pens are in nice condition, and write just as well as the first quality pens, however they do have some roughness of the edge of the clip and a bit of corrosion in the cracks. Each pen is a little different. These pens aren't perfect, but you'll have to look to see the defects. Most the pens no longer have the paper label, though they do have remnants of thre sticker that shows the nib size and flex. |
