Product Description
Type 14k Nib for fountain pen
Product Name This nib is the same as you see on the 917 Eversharp Symphonys. It is the largest of the three Symphony nib sizes. It is large enough to fit most Skylines.
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, USA, 1950s-60s. (You actually see this exact nib on Skylines from earlier than that, but we know these came from Symphony models so we guess the nibs were made in the 1950s-60s.)
Length Here are the dimensions: 7.04mm across from shoulder to shoulder, 26.62mm from tip to tail
Nib These are brand new 14k nibs with perfect tipping. They are "manifold" nibs, not flexible but also not nail-firm, they have a little give. These are very fine nibs, even the "fine" will strike most modern users as very delicate. Please see writing sample.
Condition Perfect condition, never used.
Please understand ..... We cannot guarantee it will fit your pen or your feed. As is to be expected, you'll need to heat set the nib/feed, and adjust the tines after doing so. We do check the tines under magnification before shipping, but they usually require a bit more adjustment after being installed on a feed and in a section.
