Product Description
Type Restored lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Ventura cap, but the body and nib looks like a late lever filler Symphony. We've seen this combination before but it's unclear if this is something Eversharp created to use up parts or if this is a unique model. (Sometimes the Ventura is called the Symphony Model 4.)
Manufacturer and Year Eversharp, made in USA -- 1953-7, these are the years the Ventura was produced.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the sac and it's working very well.
Color Black barrel with a silver colored cap. The cap has etched bands in it like the jewelry band pattern. It definitely has some sort of a finish on it. We think it is chrome plated.
Nib FINE 14k nib is in great condition, smooth with plenty of tipping, and springy (though it is not a fleixble nib). This is the late Eversharp nib found mostly on the Symphony but is also found on the Skyline and the Ventura.
Condition Excellent + condition. There is a bit of plating wear on the cap band. It has a few pitting marks and some scratching. The barrel has noticeable handwear. The section is a bit discolored in parts. The cap is very shiny with no dents. The pen has no cracks and is working well.
