Product Description
Type Modern luxury rollerball pen, works well
Product Name Brier & Sterling rollerball pen. It is one of the follow-up models to the Symphony and has the same dimensions.
Manufacturer and Year Montegrappa, Italy -- 1990s.
Length 5-7/16 inches, a semi-fat pen with dimension similar to Pelikan m800 or the Montblanc 146.
Filling System Takes standard international rollerball refills. Please note that not all international rollerball refills have the same tip and therefore not all brands necessarily fit. A new blue Jinhao refill is installed.
Color Matte finished Erica Wood root with sterling trim. Wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Condition Near mint condition with only light handwear evident on the sterling parts of the pen. No cracks, dents, or personalization. The trim has a slight patina to it and could be made shinier with additional polishing. Right now it looks a bit santinesque which matches the finish of the wood well. The wood is meant to discolor over time from hand oils but this looks like the original coloring.
