Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil working well
Product Name Parker 51
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Made in USA - circa late 1940s-50s (we can't see a date code, but it's possible that the imprint has just worn away, and sometimes pencils didn't have imprints).
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System It takes 0.9mm (or "thin") leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism.
Color Brown barrel is probably a darkened "Buckskin Beige" as it is lighter than the "Cordovan Brown" color. The cap is sterling silver with a parallel lines, gold filled clip, and chevron band.
Condition Excellent condition. There's some small scratches on the barrel. There's some light wear on the cone as well, but no brassing. There's some tiny dots of tarnish on the cap and a few light marks, but no dents or dings. It's working well, with no cracks, chips, or personalization. The eraser is used but still there. It probably does not erase well.
