Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen and mechanical pencil set from a collectible pen line that's not easy to find.
Product Name True Blue, from the Lucky Curve line. Small size.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- this is the streamlined version, made crica 1929-31.
Length Not including the ringtop hardware, the pen is 4-1/2" and the pencil is 4-3/4".
Filling System Button filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color True Blue (blue and white striped) body and cap made of permanite with gold plated or gold filled trim. The body of the pen has discolored toward a darger blue and tan sort of color, but the pencil's color is near perfect with just a spot or two of discoloration and slightly yellowed whites on its cap piece.
Nib FINE gold Parker Pen nib is smooth with nice tipping material which writes smoothly. It's somewhat firm with just a little springyness to it.
Condition Excellent condition with less discoloration than is common on True Blues. There's some light scratching and handwear on both pen and pencil, and a little brassing on the lower edge of the pen's lower cap band, and on the tip of the pencil's cone. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprints are only slightly worn, very clear and readable. The pen is fully restored, and both pen and pencil are working very well.
