Product Description
Type Fountain pen and pencil set with aerometric filing system
Product Name Duofold ... we think this is the Senior, as it is as long as a Maxima (5-3/8") but it has a thinner cap band and is slightly less fat. The imprint just says "Parker Duofold", whereas the Maxima pens usually say that on the imprint.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, England. Probably from the '60s.
Length Pen is 5-3/8 inches, pencil is 4-5/8.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s. Pencil extends leads in the traditional twist mechanism, and takes 0.9 mm or "thin" leads.
Color Green with gold trim. Thin size cap band with a lined triangles pattern (it looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\)
Nib Fine open nib has a bit of flex to it and is really excellent to write with. In perfect condition.
Condition Excellent condition with only extremely light scratches on the cap and barrel. The clip and trim are in amazing condition, with no brassing to be seen. The pencil is the same, though it has a few tiny dots of probably ink stain which is hard to spot on the barrel. This set is really shiny and beautiful. It comes in the original box.
