Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in excellent working condition, and superior cosmetic condition
Product Name Parker Duofold Vacumatic filler aka "Duovac." This is the higher end version of the small "Ingenue" model with the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker - 1940 (The date mark 0 is clear on the barrel, but not marked on the nib).
Length 4-11/16"
Filling System Vacumatic Speedline filler. We restored the system thoroughly tested it, it is in perfect working condition.
Color Green and gold (alternating with black stripes) body and cap with gold plated trim. One wide cap band with a very thin one on either side of it. Two black jewels on the ends of the pen.
Nib MEDIUM Parker Pen nib is firm. It's in nice condition with good tipping material, but there are some small tool marks on the right tine. We adjusted it and it's writing smoothly with good inkflow.
Condition Very nice condition. There is a small crack in the lip of the cap, but we do not expect it tp spread past the cap band. Still we recomend that you do not post this cap. There are some scratches on the blind cap, but only a couple on the barrel itself. The trim is in nice condition, with only a little brassing on the edges of the clip and on the lower cap band (see photos), though there's some scratching and wear to the rings around the jewels. The pen looks quite nice, and is working very well.
Personalized "B.J. Thompson" on the barrel (see photos).
