Product Description
Type Ballpoint pen
Product Name Parker Insignia Classic Twist, it looks more like a Parker Classic than the Insignia, but our research has people calling it this instead. The Classic Twist refers to its filling system. It looks like this might have been produced as an India exclusive.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, we don't know where it was made -- Current model, we think it's from 2013, it's a recent pen with I-IL on the cap band. If we assume that the first I stands for Insignia (and it is written in a different font) then we can treat IL as the date code.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System It takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working blue Parker refill is installed. It uses a twist mechanism to extend and retract the tip.
Color Lined gold plated cap and barrel with gold plated trim. If we were going to name the pattern, we would go with Godron instead of Milleraies because the lines are further apart.
Condition Very nice condition. The pen has very low handwear and the mechanism works well. The cap band is brassed (that's the red you see in the photos) and there is a ding on the cap near the band. No major scratches.
