Condition
|
Gorgeous condition, really perfect except for the personalization on the barrels which we have removed. The body is very smooth with only super-minor scratches and marks, and signs of light use. The imprint is good and readable. Some visibility through the barrel. Excellent trim, no brassing. We are very conservative when we remove personalizations, we don't go deep and create a saddle. If you look at the pen under magnification, you will see the remnants of the original engraving. (We're not trying to fool anyone!) This is a great set which should be dependable writers for years and years to come. The wartime #146 box is is great condition, with a few light stains on the inside |
