Product Description
Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Major (it has the Blue Diamond clip, though Majors usually have a wider single cap band unlike this one).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - 1943 (barrel is clearly marked with a 3 date code, though the nib has a date code from the next year).
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Standard plastic vacumatic filling system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well.
Color Grey pearl with chrome plated trim, a blue diamond clip (the paint is perfect), and three thin cap bands.
Nib FINE 14k nib is smooth with nice tipping. It's semi-flexible, with minor line variation from fine to medium.
Condition Excellent condition. There's some slight plating wear on the upper clip and tassie ring, as well as just slightly on the cap bands. There are a few light scratches on the barrel near the blind cap and on the blind cap. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprints are very clear and readable, and the barrel clarity is excellent. It's fully restored and working well.
