Filling System Vacumatic plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested. It has the late-era plastic plunger.
Color Azure Pearl body and cap with gold plated trim. It has alternating blue-gray pearl bands and semi-transparent amber bands. The cap has a black cap jewel and a chevron patterned cap band just over 1/8". It has a blue diamond clip.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k nib has a bit of give and is a smooth writer. It has a date code of 50.
Condition Very Nice condition. The pen has normal handwear and very good barrel transparency. The barrel has indentations from capping and posting. The cap band has brassing on its edges. The barrel imprint is clear and has an extra row that reads, "2S1." The "2S1" is likely a second personalization. There are some marks on the clip tassie and some shallow bite marks on the blind cap.The blind cap does fit perfectly flush. Someone scratched the initials, "WRH," on the cap band.
