Product Description
Type Handmade ebonite pen with aerometric filling system and a vintage flexible nib
Product Name Peyton Street Pens - we call this model "Soquel." This version has no clip.
Manufacturer and Year Ranga Pens of india made the ebonite components, and adapted a Chinese Hero aerometric filling system. The nib is a flexible Waterman nib from the 1930s!
Length 5-1/14"
Filling System Aerometric (squeeze) filling system. (Please note that squeezing the aerometric filler a few times will get the pen about half full, meaning the section and lower part of the sac will be filled. This will provide quite a bit of ink, more than a conventional cartridge. In order to fill the pen more completely, you have to squeeze the filler a few times while it is in the ink, then carefully wipe it down, point the nib at the ceiling, and give the pen a little shake or flick with your fingernail to get the ink to move into the top of the sack. Then you can put the nib back into the ink and squeeze the filler again, and this will add some more ink.)
Color Smooth mottled olive ebonite
Nib Full flex Waterman nib from a 1930s Lady Patricia pen. Excellent hairlines and spring back. See writing sample below.
Condition All components are brand new, never used, except for testing.
