Product Description
Type Lever filling fountain pen with a flexible nib, restored and working well.
Product Name Unknown.
Manufacturer and Year Redipoint, made in U.S.A. -- 1910s or 1920s.
Length Full length 4-15/16 inches in a slender shape.
Filling System Lever filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Rolled gold cap and barrel with fleur de lis pattern, and with gold filled trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Warranted #3 14k gold nib is smooth with slightly worn but sufficient tipping material. It's what we would describe as fully flexible, with easy line variation from medium to double broad under just light pressure, and nice springback. See our writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. No cracks, chips, or personalization. There are two small dents in the barrel and some minor ones in the ends so they don't appear perfectly round when you look down on them. There a circle of basic wear close to both ends of the barrel from the cap lip rubbing the finish when it's screwed on or posted. There's some minor scratching here and there, but the pattern is still in lovely condition. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
