Product Description
Type Cartridge filling fountain pen, working very well.
Product Name Uncommon "Lifetime" version which later became the Imperial. In 1963, to celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sheaffer renamed some of the white dot Imperial models Lifetime which is marked on the nib, clip, cap, and barrel. This is the Model 3000 pattern.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – from the 1960s.
Length 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System It takes Sheaffer cartridges. The piston converter is too fat and the squeeze converter is too long, so only the button converters fit. Button converters are quite rare but we have installed one in this pen which works well.
Color Gold plated cap and barrel with a grouped lines pattern.
Nib FINE 14k long diamond inlaid nib is smooth with extra nice tipping.
Condition Near Mint condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or brassing. There are a few marks on the section from capping. The imprints are clear. The pen has been cleaned and tested, it's working very well.
