Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph, it matches the ones marked 1250. This model is the pre-war version with the wide cap band.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1940s, the line was introduced in 1942 and was phased out in the 1950s.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Vac-filler (works well, just restored here at Peyton Street Pens).
Color The middle of the barrel is alternating strips of a gray and black gradient and semi-transparent yellow-green. The cap band is 7/8" wide with decorative lines etched in. The grey pearl is the only one of these pens to have chrome plated trim.
Nib Fine 14k Lifetime Triumph nib. It's firm and smooth. It looks a bit scuffed but that will not affect writing.
Condition Very nice condition, excellent except for wear on the trim, which is heavy and includes a few shallow dents on the cap band. The barrel transparency is very strong and the barrel imprint is clear. The pen is fully restored and working well.
