Product Name | Unknown |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer 1950s |
Length | Pen 6-5/8"; base 3-1/4" by 2-5/8" |
Filling System | Snorkel filler - working perfectly. We replaced the O-ring, point gasket and sac, and it's taking, holding, and expelling water splendidly. We'll send instructions on how to use the snorkel filling system. |
Color | Black pen. The base is also black, with a gold trumpet. |
Nib | 14k open style nib is marked M2 (medium). It is smooth and semi-flexible. |
Condition | The pen is in excellent condition with some very light scratching on the barrel and the tail, but quite smooth and beautiful. The base has some wear to it, but still looks very nice: there's some minor scratching and some very small chips out of the edges of it, and a bit of scratching and wear on the trumpet and its hardware (see photos). The trumpet turns with a little pressure, but won't stop you from screwing in and unscrewing the pen with one hand. This is a beautiful pen, and it will look great on any desk. |
