Product Description
Type | Snorkel fountain pen with marble base in excellent working condition |
Product Name | Unknown |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer 1950s |
Length | Pen 6-5/8"; round base 3-3/8" across |
Filling System | Snorkel filler - working perfectly. We replaced the O-ring, point gasket and sac, and it's taking, holding, and expelling water splendidly. We'll send instructions on how to use the snorkel filling system. |
Color | Brown pen. The base is a lovely white and caramel Mexican Onyx. |
Nib | 14k open style nib is unmarked, but appears to be medium. It is smooth and has a bit of flex to it. |
Condition | The pen is in very nice condition with no cracks, just a few small scratches on the barrel, and some light hand wear. The base hardware is a bit worn, and the holder has a couple small cracks on the outer edge of the inside (they shouldn't effect its functionality). The "Sheaffer's" decal on the base is quite worn (see photos), and pen-holder is a little loose in the base, it wiggles and moves up and down a little bit. |
