Filling System This is a touchdown filling pen. We've restored the filling system by replacing the O-ring and the ink sac, so it should work for years and years to come. We will enclose instructions on how it works.
Color Black with gold plated trim and a 1/4" gold plated cap ring.
Nib Flexible 2-tone 14k "Sheaffer's" nib . It's big, has lots of iridium, and feels quite smooth. It has a serial number: B80536. See writing sample below.
Condition Beautiful, excellent condition. It's incredibly shiny, with no brassing on the trim, and only a few very minor scratches on the cap, and only minor handwear on the barrel. It's a really striking piece, and working very smoothly. The white dot has changed color a bit and picked up some of the burgundy color, as you can see in the photos.
Excellent condition for this striking pen. The cap and barrel have light scratching throughout and more moderate scratching near the end of the barrel and toward the top of the cap. The white dot has changed color to a fleshy peach. The threaded section has one largish area of deep scratching under the front side of the nib and a smaller area of scratching toward the back side. The amber see-thru area of the section is excellent. The cap ring and clip are lovely. No cracks, chips, dings or dents. The imprints are clear.
