Type Fountain Pen with matching pencil.
Product Name Stylist 727. This lined pattern is marked on the pencil sticker. This is one of the later Stylist pens that often gets called a Lady Sheaffer due to its nib. While made at the same time as the Imperial 727, it has a different "Triumph" style conical nib and is slimmer.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1970s.
Length The ballpoint is 5" and the fountain pen is 5-1/4" capped.
Filling System The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm or "thin" leads. The lead extends and retracts via a twist mechanism. An eraser can be found beneath the cap. The fountain pen takes Sheaffer cartridges and converters. A squeeze converter is installed.
Color Gold Electroplated cap and body with grouped gold lines pattern. The lined design features 4 lines alternating with a blank space. It has a black section.
Nib Fine 14k Triumph nib. The tines aren't cut symmetrically but the the pen writes smoothly. The section is unlabeled but it looks like a narrow fine.
Condition Excellent + used condition. There's some light usage marks on both pieces. Both have their original cap stickers, though the fountain pen sticker is illegible. The pencil looks a little worse with more polishing marks than the pen. No cracks, chips, or dents on either. They ship in a Sheaffer box.
