Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil in good working order.
Product Name The Clipper (it's marked on the upper barrel, see photos).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer created the WASP (which stood for W A Sheaffer Pen) brand in the late 1930s.
Length 4-3/4"
Filling System Takes 1.1mm (or "thick") leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism (you twist the cone). We'll include a small packet of leads.
Color They called this pattern "Brown Lahn." It's an interesting complex layered pattern with metallic webbing. Gold plated trim.
Condition Excellent condition with some lesser scratching in the finish, which doesn't hardly show due to the complex pattern. The gold plated trim is mostly in really nice conditon, except fot the flat surface of the clip, which has some lighter wear, early brassing on it (see photos). It's really quite beautiful looking, and working well.
