This version of the Sheaffer Crest was another of the company's 1990s revival models. The earlier Crests were produced in the 1940s and introduced the large conical Triumph nib to the world. This later version features the same large conical nib and can be used with cartridges or a converter. The models included all lacquer versions and ones with gold plated caps, as well as all gold plated and sterling silver models. Both fountain pens and ballpoints were part of the series.
