Product Description
Type | Vintage fountain pen in excellent working condition, with a hard to find ultra flexible "wet noodle" nib |
Product Name | Unknown |
Manufacturer and Year | Supremacy was brand made by the Kritikson Brothers and associates in Chicago in the late 1920’s. There's some conjecture that the Supremacy pens were associated with R.H. Macy, but that cannot be confirmed. |
Length | 5-3/8" |
Filling System | Lever filler - working perfectly with a new sac |
Color | Very pretty dark brick red pattern with gold plated trim. A black top piece. |
Nib | 14k Warranted #8 nib is very flexible, and we are willing to call it a "wet noodle" (regular customers know we rarely if ever use that term, in a concentrated effort not to exagerrate flex.) You'll get easily achieved line variation from fine to broad or double broad. Please see the writing sample. |
Condition | Superior condition with hardly any signs of usage. The plating on the trim was very thick and there is no brassing. There might be some wear on the lever, it's hard to tell. Very clean and shiny. There's no imprint that we can see, but we really don't see many Supremacy pens and we're not sure what to expect. |
