Filling System | Lever filler. The filling system has been restored here are PSP and is working very well and we guarantee it for one year. |
Color | Red marble in a pattern running length-wise, which we think is the "Carnelian" color, with gold plated trim. |
Nib | Marked Eversharp Flexible. Nice fine point, symmetrical, with excellent tipping material visible. Wet, so you'll want to experiment with different inks to get optimal flow. A good amount of flex, what we'd consider full flex. Line variation from fine to double broad. Very smooth, with easy flex and good spring back. See writing sample. |
Condition | The majority of value here is in the nib and the writing experience. This pen has been used, and it is in excellent functional condition. It would be a remarkable pen had someone not chewed mercilessly on both ends. See photos. Very good trim with minor brassing on the high points of the clip and cap band. No cracks in the cap lip. The filling system works well, and we'll guarantee it for a period of one year. |
