Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Wahl Oxford (Regular)
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Oxford, it's not quite clear if Wahl Oxford is a line or a brand, made in USA -- Early 1930s, we know it's not the late 1930s version due to the cap shape and clip placement.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Lever filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color Brown marble with red veins. It has gold plated trim and two narrow cap bands. The plating on these Wahl Oxfords is very thin.
Nib Medium 14k nib. It is smooth and springy, but not enough for flexible writing. This pen usually came with a #3 Wahl Oxford nib but in this era Eversharp emphasized nib customization and it could be original..
Condition Very nice condition. The cap has bite marks and the lever doesn't sit flat on the barrel. The cap lip has a repaired crack. You can barely feel it on the outside of the cap, but can feel it with your nail when you run it along the inside. We do not recommend posting this pen. No cracks or chips. Fully restored and working well. Strong imprint. Typical trim wear and brassing on the clip and lever.
