Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully
Product Name Model 502
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, England- 1940s
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Brown. The trim is gold plated or filled, with one narrow cap bands.
Nib The nib is marked Waterman's 14CT 2A. It is somewhat soft feeling with good "give", but we wouldn't call it full-flex. Very respectable line variation. See the writing sample below. Broad point. The tipping material is rather worn, but it is present on both tines.
Condition Very Nice condition. No cracks or chips. There are light scratches on the cap and barrel, but the overall impression is shiny and smooth. See the marks around the imprint in the photos below. There is some plating wear on the edges of the clip and on the lever, but all in all this is a very sharp and attractive pen. The imprint is very good. This pen writes very smoothly. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
