Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a very flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 1/2 V (marked on the end of the pen barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - circa 1925.
Length 4-3/8".
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well).
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold plated trim. The very top of the cap had a rounded gold plated "derby."
Nib The nib is marked Waterman's IDEAL New York 2. It is very flexible with excellent line variation and spring back. It has a good amount of tipping material. The line varies from extra fine to broad.
Condition Ready to write condition. No cracks or chips. The imprints are readable abd the color is very dark. The trim is very good with only a small amount of wear. There's no ring hardware, just the hole.
This pen writes very smoothly with a good amount of flex. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
