Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel). Please note that the cap most likely came from a 52V ring top, while the barrel came from the regular 52 pen.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1920s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Red and black hard rubber with gold plated trim. The rippling on the barrel is especially neat, falling somewhere between woodgrain and the normal ripple!
Nib Extra fine flexible nib. It easily goes from an extra fine to a wide broad. Please see writing sample below. The tipping material amount is different on each tine but the tines are quite even.
Condition Excellent + condition, the hard rubber is incredibly smooth to the touch and the color is awesome. The only wear is on the trim. There's just a touch of wear on the lever and on the cap band. This pen writes smoothly with a good amount of flex. The imprints are very clear. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year. The cap band has been personalized, "Edna. M. Eller."
