Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in working condition, lever filler.
Product Name Lady Patricia Ink Vue
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1930s
Length Small size -- 4-1/4"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored the filling system, and it's working well.
Color Grey swirling finish with a large see through area which gives this pen the name "Ink Vue." Chrome or shiny nickel plated trim.
Nib SEMI-FLEX FINE Waterman Ideal #2 nib. It's got decent tipping material and feels smooth to write with. (Actually somewhere between flexible and semi-flex, but we don't like to overstate the flex.)
Condition Very nice condition. As is common in these pens, the ink vue window is fairly discolored to a sort of amber color (see photos). The barrel and cap are both scratched, but don't have any really deep scratches, and no cracks or chips. The plating is worn on its bumps and corners, but still the pen looks quite good. It's working very well after restoration, and the imprint is very clear.
The barrel is engraved "Gertrude A. Young."
