Product Name 291M 3+ as indicated on the imprint at the end of the barrel.
Manufacturer and Year A. A. Waterman & Co., USA -- circa 1912, the twist filler came out in 1903 and the L.E. Waterman company forced them to put the discalimer ("Not Connected to the L.E. Waterman Company") on their pens in 1912. They were more or less out of business by the beginning of the 1920s.

Filling System Twist filler. You twist the knob clockwise and then release the knob to take in ink. You can find a nice explanation about the filling system here. We replaced the sac.
Color Black chased hard rubber pen with 6/16" gold band with a flower motif around the top of the cap.

Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dings, or dents. This is a dainty pen with some flair. The black chasing is well defined and the black color is dark and consistent. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap has a one surface mark that mars the chasing. The gold band at the top of the cap is well defined and very beautiful, shiny, and ornate. The imprints are clear.
