Type Crescent filling vintage fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Crescent 2NL. This is imprinted near the end of the barrel. The 2 is for nib size, and the "NL" stands for "Non-leakable" which refers to the additional cap lining.
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, made in Toledo, Ohio -- 1920s.

Filling System Crescent filler. We've restored it with a new sac and its working very well.
Color Red and black hard rubber in a mottled pattern. The crescent appears to be rose gold.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Conklin Toledo #2 nib. Fine hairline crack at base of nib, almost reaching the "L" in Toledo. This is a stable crack and will not worsen if the nib is not over-flexed. Line variation from fine to double broad with very little pressure. Please see the writing below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully marbled, dark, uniquely styled pen. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip and otherwise very light signs of usage. The cap has light wear with some more moderate marks toward the top of the cap. The crescent has scratching along the edges. The imprints are crisp and clear.
