Color Standard Green. This is the darker of the two main Conklin greens. It's a blue-green with black for a marble pattern. It has a double cap band, 4 filled accent lines, and a black section. The trim is gold filled. The groove coloring is orange-red. The pen is engraved: "President's Prize/Grasselli-1931-Dupont".
Nib Semi-flexible Conklin Endura U.S.A. gold nib. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The pen is shiny and has very nice crisp coloring. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching with heavier scratching at the end or the barrel and at the top of the cap. The imprint is clear. The pen is engraged: "President's Prize/Grasselli-1931-Dupont". Grasselli was a chemical company acquired by Dupont in the late 1920s, but we're not sure what the significance of "Presidents Prize" is.
