Color Gorgeous red and black "herringbone" pattern. The trim is gold plated, and it has a 1/4" cap band with a decorative edge.
Nib FINE 14k "5" is in nice condition with good tipping. It's smooth and quite firm.
Condition Excellent condition. Light handwear and microscratching, but still quite shiny and nice. The herringbone pattern is gorgeous! Slight horizontal capping rings on the barrel. The clip has brassing on the high spots and on the the diamond end. The retaining ring at the top has some brassing around the upper edges. Cap jewel looks like it was originally black, but some of the (paint? enamel?) material has rubbed off showing the silver-colored metal beneath. The lever has some brassing and light plating wear along the edges. The cap band has some brassing on the top edge, but for the most part looks quite nice. The pen is fully restored and working well.
