Product Name Unknown.
Manufacturer and Year Good Service Pen Co., Chicago -- 1920s or 30s. Good Service Pen Co. was a Sears Roebuck brand, sold in their stores. It was probably made by National but there aren't enough markings for us to confirm it.
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black celluloid with a narrow cap band. The pen is flat on the ends. The trim is gold plated.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE 14k #8 nib. It has strong line variation from easily spreading tines. See the writing sample below
Condition Excellent + condition. There are no cracks or real scratches. The barrel imprint is clear. The end of the barrel is slightly worn from posting or skrinkage, and there is lesser but similar wear at the top of the cap. The cap band has a few dings and spots of brassing. The ball end of the clip is brassed and there is a tiny chip in the cap lip.The pen is fully restored and working well.
