Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Swan Eternal 54 E.T.N. (marked clearly on the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Mabie Todd & Co., New York – circa late 1920s.
Length Just over 4-1/2 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Green radite cap and barrel with gold plated trim and a 3/16 inch wide cap band with a pattern of lines around it.
Nib MEDIUM "Swan" Eternal 4 14Ct. Mabie Todd & Co. gold nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It's semi-flexible but without too much line variation.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks or chips, dings, or personalization. There's are a few small scratches on the cap and barrel, and some tiny spots of plating wear on the lever as well as a few tiny spots of light brassing on the clip. The cap band shows some very minor marks. The imprints are all clear and readable, and the color is lovely, with only small faint marks of minor discoloration. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
