Condition Superior condition in original box. The fountain pen looks fantastic, wiith only light handwear. No cracks, chips, or serious scratches. We have restored it with a new diaphragm and it is ready for years of usage. The cap is very nice. There are a few light marks near the top, but no serious dents or dings. There is some plating wear along the sides of the clip, and at the very tip of the arrow. The imprint is strong and clear. The pencil is in similar condition, with minimal scratches on the body. Like the pen, the pencil's clip has some plating wear on the sides. The plating on the nose cone is flaking off. The twist mechanism to extend and retract the lead is working great, and is very smooth. Minimal scratches on the body, and a good strong imprint. The jewels on both pieces are perfect.
