Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Duofold Centennial, this is the first version with the "arrow" style nib.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK -- 1989 (the date code is IN).
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Takes Parker cartridges, or you can use a converter (installed)
Color Maroon marble with gold trim. Black end piece on barrel and on top of cap.
Nib 18k #98 nib. This is a broad nib classified as "heavy italic" but we think it might have customized a bit as the top surface has some grinding marks, and we've had Centennials with this nib before and they lacked the scooped out top surface.
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, dings or scratches. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen, in a classic design. The pen looks new. There is very light micro-scratching on the clip and cap band. The imprints are clear.
Parker officially introduced the Duofold Centennial in 1988 to commemorate the company's 100-year jubilee, but production started in 1987.
