Near mint Parker Insignia set from the 1990s. Blue lacquered body with a gold plated cap. This is the Custom Blue model indicating a "custom" or gold plated cap and a blue body. The set includes a rollerball, ballpoint, and a mechanical pencil that takes 0.5mm leads. Near mint condition.

Type Three piece pen set

Product Name Insignia Custom, like earlier Parker models, the Custom identifies the pen as having a gold plated cap.

Manufacturer and Year  Parker, USA -- 1996 and 1997 (The date code on the rollerball is a clear IIP for 1997 but the ballpoint and pencil both have date codes of IY for 1996)

Length  The rollerball pen measures 5-1/4". The ballpoint pen measures 5-3/16". The mechanical pencil is the longest at 5-7/16".

Filling System  The rollerball pen takes Parker-style rollerball refills. A new blue refill is installed. The ballpoint pen takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working black refill is installed. The tip extends and retracts via a twist mechanism. The mechanical pencil takes 0.5mm leads. It has a button at the top of the cap to extend and push in leads. An eraser can be found beneath the cap.

Color  Blue lacquer body and gold plated cap and trim. The cap is called "Dimonite G" and is 14k plated.

Condition  Near Mint condition. The imprints are a little harder to read on the pencil and ballpoint but overall the pens and pencil are nicely shiny with no real wear.
