Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parco (marked on the barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA - circa 1932 (the Parco model was introduced in about 1932 began to be replaced slowly by the Parkette in 1933, however there is no date code marked into the barrel.) Fun fact: the Parco was Parker's first lever-filler, introduced to compete with their corporate rival Sheaffer.
Length 4-3/4"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac, and it's working well.
Color Pearlized green and black marbled finish, gold plated trim. Two sets of double cap bands, two near the lip of the cap and two above the clip.
Nib SEMI-FLEX FINE 14k Parco nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifuly colored pen in a classic design. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching with some longish scratch lines and some clusters of thin scratch lines (especially on the cap near the two trim areas). The great color and marbling overcome the wear to a great extent and the pen looks shiny. The lever, cap band and clip all have some plating wear. The imprints are clear.
