Filling System The pen takes Parker style cartridges and converters. A Parker piston converter is installed.
Color Royal Purple lacquered barrel with gold-plated cap. The cap has a satin finish has "Accession The Queen's Golden Jubilee" imprinted on it, and is crowned with a purple jewel.
Nib MEDIUM gold-plated nib is very smooth with lovely tipping. It is a bit springy. The feed is labeled M. The nib is engraved with a crown and "E II R" ("E R" stands for "Elizabeth Regina", with Regina being Latin for Queen)
Condition Very nice condition, excellent except for a thin crack that starts at the cap lip. This is a nicely weighted, regal, shiny pen in the royal colors. The barrel has light scratches mainly near the end. The clip has a line of plating wear at the very top where it attaches to the clip band. The imprints are clear.
