Filling System Vacumatic aluminum lockdown plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested and it's working well.
Color Emerald Pearl Marble is a marbled gray-green barrel and cap with a black section and two narrow cap bands. There is a black jewel on each end and the trim is gold plated.
Nib FINE 14k nib is a smooth writer and very firm. The back of the feed is marked with an A. It is a narrow fine nib with a date code of ".4.". The nib is single tone, correct for this model.
Condition Excellent condition. The barrel transparency is very strong with light ambering. The barrel color is slightly darker than the rest of the pen, but it's overall quite lovely. The arrow end of the clip has some brassing. The rest of the trim looks quite nice. The blind cap sits flush against the barrel. The barrel imprint is clear. Both jewels have slight scratching, but no cracks or chips.
