Product Description
Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior. The Junior is more or less the same size as the Major. We think the cap is from the late 1930s due to the arrow clip, whereas the rest of the pen is from the late 1940s.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1948 (The date code on the barrel is an 8 with one dot; the date code on the nib is an 8 with three dots).

Filling System Later Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly. It has the plastic plunger.
Color Laminated Black with gold plated trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip. It looks solid black from a distance but has semi-transparent bands visible when held up to light.

Condition Very nice condition with no cracks. This is a small classic pen in a nice color pattern. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and some small, deep marks as well as small chips around the blind cap. The cap has scratching on the cap rings and all around them, but there is no plating wear on the rings. There is plating wear on the clip and clip ring. The top jewel is excellent. The imprints are clear.
