Sheaffer #2 flat top fountain pen from the 1920s. It is a full sized pen in black chased hard rubber with an interesting stepped pattern. It has nickel plated trim. The nib is a #2 fine flexible nib, fully flexible. Excellent + condition.  Very shiny and beautiful with clear patterning.

Filling System  The fountain pen is a lever filler, restored with a new sac.

Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with stepped chasing and with a nickel plated clip and lever.

Nib  Fine Flexible #2 gold fine nib has easily spread tines for fully flexible writing and strong line variation. We consider it full flex. Please see the writing sample below.

Condition  Excellent + condition with no cracks,  dings, or dents. The color is uniformly dark and shiny and the stepped chasing is clear.   The barrel has some surface flaws and perhaps light bite marks at the end.  The cap has a tiny chip on the lip and a small scratch to the right of the top of the clip.  The clip has scratch marks along the front.  The imprints are clear.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance.
