Product Description
Type Snorkel fountain pen and mechanical pencil set in great working condition
Product Name Admiral Snorkel
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - 1952-9
Length Fountain pen: 5-5/8"; Mechanical Pencil: 5"
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've fully restored the system with a new sac, point gasket, and O-ring. It's working perfectly, and we'll send in instructions on how to use this filling system. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads.
Color Buckskin Tan bodies and caps with gold plated trim. The color is a blush pink buckskin. This is one of the harder to find colors, though not super rare like Periwinkle and Peacock.
Nib Fine 14k open nib marked F2. It is in great condition, with a nice tipping, and feels quite smooth and firm.
Condition Superior condition for both the pen and pencil, with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. The set comes in the original Sheaffer's box. The pen has just a few small marks at the end of the barrel. The pencil has some plating wear on the cone. The imprints are clear and, in fact, you can still see remains of the model and price chalk marks on the pen. The box is a little squished and is mising the strings, but it does include the instruction sheet.
