Filling System The snorkel works in combination with the Touchdown filling system. You unscrew the knob to extend the snorkel, pull out the piston, immerse it in ink, and push the piston down. Wait 10 seconds and allow the bladder to expand and pull the ink in. Then screw the knob to retract the snorkel, and you are good to go. No need to wipe ink off of anything!
We restored the filling system and tested it for leaks. We replaced the O-ring in the barrel as well as the ink sac and point gasket.
Color Dark blue, almost black in some lighting, with stainless steel trim.
Nib Fine PdAg (Palladium Silver) nib. It is smooth and writes well. Palladium springs easily so be careful when using this nib. The nib is in excellent condition with a nice round tip.
Condition Excellent with no cracks or chips or scratches. Handwear and polishing marks throughout. There is a funny mark on the cap. We photographed it. Light handwear only, a few light scratches on the squared ends. The imprint looks very good.
