Product Description
Type New old stock fountain pen
Product Name 444X. This pen differs from the Stylist 444X (see our listing here) in that it has a short gold clip as opposed to the narrow long Stylist clip. The conical nib unit is exactly the same. There's also a model from the Triumph White Dot "Quasi Imperial" series designated as a 444X with an inlaid nib! This pen could be the result of a Sheaffer dealer swapping parts around, but this how they came to us.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, Argentina - this model was made starting circa 1968
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer style refills or a converter. It will come fitted with a converter.
Color Brushed chrome caps and plastic barrels with gold trim. Short gold clip.
Nib Select nib from pulldown menu. Short version of the Triumph nib, though Sheaffer never called these by that name, possibly palladium silver.
Condition New old stock and in excellent condition. Sheaffer gift box.
